I Am Sick Of Salad, Sick of Diets, Sick of Sticking Myself and Sick of This Disease
Friday, August 18, 2006
I know that all of this is “good for me” – but I want to be bad. Although I have never really been an ice cream eater, I would just love to eat an entire gallon of Ben & Jerry’s New York Fudge ice cream. Even though I keep on changing the salad each day, I am still fed up with it. Even just having different vegetables cooked in different ways is really getting old. I want to eat what I want to eat, and when I want to eat it. I currently have breakfast, morning snack, lunch, afternoon snack, dinner and evening snack, all approximately 3 hours apart. Eating is just not as much fun when I have to eat. I know that I also need to diversify my meals, but who has time to do anything like that? In one of the cookbooks that I have not reviewed yet, the author talks about trying to keep cooking time to under an hour. Well, I need to keep it to less than 20-25 minutes or less if possible. If they make the day 25 hours longer, then maybe I would get a chance to do some real cooking, but until then, where is the time?
Hey, I never asked for this disease and would really like to get rid of it, but I know that is impossible. I do not take drugs, do not gamble, do not drink, food was my outlet (as I have stated many other times in this blog) and now it is gone.
