Back to the NutritionistTuesday, July 18, 2006 It has been a whole week since I have last seen the nutritionist. The good thing is that I do not have to stick myself four times a day and I do not have to record every little thing I eat. She asked me a few questions and looked over what I have eaten over the last few days and she had some pretty good things to say. I have also lost two pounds since last week (down to below 213 with clothes & sneakers on). I have not been this "light" for a long while. I can't wait until I am under 200. I got kind of upset today. While driving, I passed by a Chinese all-you-can-eat buffet. I realized that it will be a very long time before I can do something like that again, and if I do, it would still have to be restrained. I am being limited, which I really hate -- and it is a restraint I have to live with for the rest of my life. My wife found out that she was allergic to chocolate in her early 20s. She enjoyed chocolate and cannot have it anymore. She says that she understands what I am going through. I guess to a very small extent yes - but she did not have to change her eating habits, her lifestyle, the amount she eats for every single meal and every single snack that she has for the rest of her life. So, I guess she really does not really understand. Luckily, she is very supportive of me and she loves me (as I do her).
